Latchkey (BASE)

BASE Mileage Club

B.A.S.E. (Before and After School Experience), the district’s latchkey program, provides an affordable, supervised program for students enrolled in the district’s elementary and middle schools.

BASE offers the convenience of before and after school care right at Helke Elementary School, Demmitt Elementary School, and Smith Middle School. Sixth-grade students may attend BASE p.m. at the Smith location.  Sixth graders will be transported by bus to the Smith location.  Experienced staff members provide students with a variety of planned activities, special projects, and enrichment opportunities.

The program runs from August 16, 2017 - May 24, 2018, at the following times:

Helke and Demmitt: 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Smith: 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. and 3:15 - 6:00 p.m.

For more information about the program, contact Sheri Zugelder, latchkey supervisor, at 415-7041.
