Manage Your Child’s Lunch Account Using SPS EZPay

Vandalia-Butler City Schools has made it easier for parents to manage their students’ lunch accounts with the new SPS EZpay system. With EZpay, parents can:

  • Add money to their child’s lunch account using a credit or debit card.

  • View their child’s lunch account balance online.

  • Receive email notifications when the balance drops below $15.ezpay

To use the system, simply:

  • Click here to access SPS EZPay.

  • Register each child using his or her student ID number, which is the same number used for the pre-paid lunch program and the Parent Internet Viewer.

  • Allow 24 hours for the money to be credited to the lunch account.

The EZpay system is free, and it is only available online. Each school building continues to accept cash and checks.

No personal information about students is available online, and the district does not keep the credit card information on file. Questions may be directed to the Vandalia-Butler City Schools Food Service Department at 415-6421 or to 1-866-MyEZpay (866-693-9729) or via email atinfo@spsezpay.com.

Other Forms of Prepayment

Students have an option to pre-pay for their breakfast and lunch purchases in the cafeteria.

If sending cash, please put the money in a sealed envelope stating the student’s first and last name, student ID number, and the amount that is enclosed. If sending for more than one student, please list the first and last name of each child.

Checks should be made payable to the Vandalia Butler Food Service Department. Please state the student’s first and last name(s) on the check. Please use black or blue ink if possible. Please note that a service fee of $10.00 will be charged for each returned check.

Free School Meals and Instructional Fees

Parents of children who qualify for free school meals are not required to pay instructional school fees. The fee waiver applies only to children who qualify for free school lunches, and it applies only to instructional fees.

To be considered for the instructional school fee waiver, parents must complete and return to their child's school the 2016-2017 Free and Reduced School Meals Application. The application includes the Instructional Fee Waiver for Students Who Qualify for Free Meals. Only one application and one fee waiver form needs to be completed for each family. You do not need to fill out separate applications for every child in your family.
