Safety rules and tips

Please take time to review these rules and tips with your child.

Each student is assigned and required to use a specific school bus stop except in unusual circumstances as approved by the district.

Each student is assigned a designated place of safety on the residence side of the roadway on which the vehicle is scheduled to stop. Drivers must account for each student at the designated place of safety before leaving. Students are not to proceed to their residence until the school bus has departed.

Make sure you know your child's bus number.

Forms

Transportation Request Form

Use this form to request a change in where your child is picked up or dropped off. This is a one time form to be used to request that your child be picked up and/or dropped off at a bus stop other than the assigned home bus stop. Community Bus will only transport students to alternate locations for childcare (daycare centers excluded). No other requests for alternate bus stops will be granted. This request must be completed for each new school year. If a change is made during the school year, a new transportation request must be submitted and approved before the child is allowed to ride any other bus.
