February 05, 2012 07:16PM
Butler High School's marching band will host a fundraiser dinner and auction with live music on Saturday, March 3, from 6-9 p.m. in the school's newly renovated cafeteria. The fundraiser will help fund the band's once-in-a-lifetime trip to perform at the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom in April.
The event will feature a live performance by local blues musician and Butler alumnus Eric Jerardi and pasta courtesy of Olive Garden. The array of items up for bid include autographed sports memorabilia, a Kindle Fire, a Kodak sport digital camera package, professional teeth whitening, and gift certificates from numerous local merchants. Complimentary babysitting will be available.
Tickets are $10 for ages 10 and up and $5 for ages 4-9. Children under 4 are free. Tickets are available at the Butler High School main office, through marching band students and families, and select area merchants.
