District Centralized Attendance - Grades K-8
Each time a student will be late or absent from school, a parent MUST call the attendance office at 415-6401 (leave a recorded message 24 hours a day) OR e-mail attendance@vbcsd.com. Absence/tardy calls will not be accepted by the school office.    

Please call in absences no later than 10:00 a.m. If the student will be tardy, please call before 9:20 a.m. so a lunch can be ordered. When a student comes in late, his or her parent must come into the office to sign the student in.

Tardy
After 9:00 a.m., before 10:30 a.m.

Absent Half-Day
Arriving after 10:30 a.m. or leave before 2:00 p.m.

Lunch Times and Noon Recess
Grades 3 and 4: 11:40 a.m. – 12:25 p.m.
Grades 1 and 2: 12:05 p.m. – 12:55 p.m.
