D.C. Trip

Every year, Smith eighth graders travel to Washington, D.C., for a four-day trip. The much-anticipated experience is rich in educational value as it brings to life classroom studies in the areas of social studies, language arts, and science.

The trip reinforces content standards related to history, people in society, government, earth and space science, technology, and reading.
