Technology in the Classroom: Changing to Fit the Needs of Today's Students

Technology is changing the way educators teach, students learn and how the two group interact with each other.

All this week, we’ll look at some of the ways Vandalia-Butler City Schools teachers are incorporating technology into their classrooms. From math games, to independent learning, computers and other devices are showing students new ways to learn.

iPads and the eSpark application is making individualized learning easier in today’s classrooms. These students at Helke Elementary have the chance to work on lessons designed just for them. Teachers are able to use results of testing to see what students need to work on, then choose the activities which will strengthen their weakest skills.
