Congratulations Morton art teacher Kate Brookshire and the students at Morton who will have the opportunity to make some special projects this year thanks to a 2016 McDonald’s MAC Grant.
The MAC Grants program, an initiative sponsored by local McDonald's owner/operators, is designed to help teachers Make Activities Count for their students. Teachers present ideas for "meaningful, hands-on activities to enhance the learning process" for their students.
Brookshire has created a project that will have students create Identity Boxes with aluminum tooling foil they emboss with designs and symbols.
In a letter announcing the grant, Brookshire's proposal was declared to be amont the "cream of the crop." Congratulations Kate and to your students who are lucky to have you as their teacher.
