Vandalia-Butler Wins AP Honor Roll for Second Year

7th Annual AP Honor Roll

The Vandalia-Butler City School District is one of six Dayton-area schools to be named to the College Board's 7th Annual Advanced Placement Honor Roll.

Three schools received the award for the second year in a row, Vandalia-Butler, Springboro and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Brookville, Northmont and Yellow Springs are all winning the award for the first time.

A total of 433 school districts in the U.S and Canada are on this year's honor roll list. Ohio has 32 schools.

The College Board based this year's AP District Honor Roll criteria on AP data from 2014-2016.

School districts that achieve an increase in access to Advanced Placement Coursework, for a broader number of students, and maintains or improve the rate at which students earned scores of three or higher on exams, receive this honor.

At Vandalia-Butler City Schools, they strive to provide students with access to high-quality learning opportunities that expand the student's prospects for success in college, career, and life.
