Treasurer
Supporting excellence through fiscal stewardship.
The treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the District and reports directly to the Vandalia-Butler Board of Education. Additionally, the Treasurer/CFO is responsible for all records produced by and received by his office and serves as the secretary.
The Finance Department supports educational excellence through sufficient funding and effective stewardship. Every member of the finance team is focused on the responsible investment of taxpayer dollars. The district's strong academic performance demonstrates the finance team and district administration's commitment to ensuring resources are dedicated first to the classroom.
Our Top Priorities Include:
- Adequately funding the education of all Vandalia-Butler students.
- Continuously seeking cost savings and more efficient methods of operating.
- Advocating for and supporting developments that moderate taxation.
- Providing full disclosure of financial resources to our community.
Conservative budgeting has set the district at one of the lowest school tax rates in Montgomery County.
