Military Wall of Honor

Our district is Purple and Gold, but we are Red, White, and Blue first!

The Military Wall of Honor serves as a way to recognize Butler High School alumni for their military service. Located prominently in the Alumni Atrium of Butler High School, the Wall of Honor is a visual display and reminder of all who have served to protect our freedom.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?

Our District will open a Google Form to accept applications from September 1 through March 31 of each school year.

*The form will be open from September through March*

General contact information will be requested, and we will also request a copy of your DD214 (with social security redacted). If you prefer, DD214 forms may be mailed or dropped off at the Board of Education Office at 500 S. Dixie Drive.

CAN I SUBMIT A NOMINATION ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes! Applications may be made on behalf of a Butler High School military veteran. The form will request both the applicant's name and the name of the veteran being honored.

HOW OFTEN WILL NAMES BE ADDED?

New groups will be added each May.

The updates will coincide with the Butler High School Memorial Program, and those who applied will receive an invitation to view the wall and attend the program.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?

Military veterans who attended Butler High School are eligible to participate.

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS. WHO CAN I CONTACT?
