2024-2025 B.A.S.E. Information

 

Vandalia-Butler will be offering before and after school care for the 2024-2025 school year.  B.A.S.E. registration is available to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  All B.A.S.E. services will be located at Helke Early Learning Center.  Students enrolled in the B.A.S.E. program who attend Smith or Demmitt will be bused to their school from Helke in the morning or bused from their school to Helke in the afternoon. 

Hours for the program: 6:30 am – 9:00 AM and 2:40 PM – 6:00 PM

BASE REGISTRATION/INTEREST SURVEY

Based on feedback from families, we have decided to accept registration for students on both a full time and a part time basis.  Part time is defined as “up to 3 scheduled days per week.”   The fee structure by building is listed below:   

HELKE

Full Time

  • AM and PM: $500 per month
  • AM: $225 per month
  • PM: $300 per month

Part Time (Up to 3 scheduled days per week)

  • AM and PM: $350 per month
  • AM: $160 per month
  • PM: $210 per month

DEMMITT

Full Time

  • AM and PM: $465 per month
  • AM: $240 per month
  • PM: $250 per month

Part Time (Up to 3 scheduled days per week)

  • AM and PM: $325 per month
  • AM: $170 per month
  • PM: $175 per month

SMITH

Full Time

  • AM and PM: $465 per month
  • AM: $250 per month
  • PM: $240 per month

Part Time (Up to 3 scheduled days per week)

  • AM and PM: $325 per month
  • AM: $175 per month
  • PM: $170 per month

All fees are assessed to student EZ Pay accounts. The initial fee due dates are:

  • June 15 = $100
  • July 15 = $100 or remaining 1st month’s balance
  • August 15 = remaining 1st months balance
