2025-2026 B.A.S.E. Information

B.A.S.E. (Before and After School Experience) is a program offered at Vandalia-Butler City Schools providing before and after school childcare for families of students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.

Because of the number of students who will be attending our before and after school care program, we will offer services at both Demmitt Elementary School and Helke Early Learning Center for the 2025-2026 school year. Smith Intermediate School students will be transported from Demmitt to Smith via school transportation in the morning and from Smith to Demmitt for afternoon care.

6:30 am – 8:25 a.m. and 2:40 PM – 6:00 p.m.

Demmitt Elementary School/Smith Intermediate School
6:30-8:40 a.m. and 3:30-6 p.m.

DEMMITT

Full Time
