Introducing ParentSquare Community Groups
Members of the Vandalia and Butler Township community who do not currently have students enrolled in the district are invited to join our new community group on ParentSquare. This new opt-in option allows all community members the opportunity to sign up for our monthly district newsletters.

ParentSquare Login
ParentSquare is a safe and secure communication tool that allows our district to communicate with all VBCSD families across one unified platform. Families will receive district-level messages such as school delay and closure notifications as well as building-level announcements and classroom communications.
Accounts are automatically created for VBCSD families based on the information provided in Power School. Parents are encouraged to login/activate the account from a browser or download the mobile app with the cell phone or email address associated with Power School. By doing this, families can customize the way notifications are received and to what frequency.

StudentSquare Login
VBCSD offers StudentSquare for students in grades 6-12. With StudentSquare, students can receive safe and secure communications via text messages, school issued email addresses, alerts, or through the StudentSquare app/web browser. For more information, click here.
Stay Connected
1. Update Your Information
Ensure your phone number, email address, and home address are up-to-date in Power School. ParentSquare synchs nightly with Power School to ensure all families are receiving information.
2. Login to Your Account
Your account has already been created, so there is no need to "opt-in". However, by signing in to the browser version or downloading the mobile app, you will have access to additional customizable settings.
3. Update Your Settings
Are you receiving too many notifications? Don't want to receive text messages? Once you sign in to your account, you can change your notification settings to fit your needs. Click here to learn how (note-you will be prompted to sign in first).
4. Make Sure You Are Receiving Emails
If you do not see ParentSquare emails, check your spam folder for the address donotreply@parentsquare.com. Be sure to add the domain "parentsquare.com" to your safe senders list within your email contacts.
